Testing and hangtag applying procedure（2016.4 update）

TESTING:

• 1、Provide samples (four product pieces including   socks, seamless underwear, hat, and glove, three-meter full width of   fabric). Product description that needs to be accompanied with samples:   raw material proposition, the applied Lycra® spandex or nylon’s   thickness, width (fabric),gram, and the testing types （Coolmax®   core、Coolmax® all season、Coolmax® air、Coolmax® Extreme、Thermolite® core、   Thermolite® all season、Thermolite® infrared), etc.

• 2、Content requirement:
  ◆The minimum content requirement of the submitted COOLMAX® sample is as follows:
  COOLMAX CORE ALL SEASON AIR EXTREME Knitting Rigid 35% 35% Stretch≥45%； Rigid≥50% Stretch≥80%； Rigid≥85% Stretch Woven Rigid Weight＜150g/m2,≥15%; Weight≥150g/m2，≥20% 20% Stretch Bedding Knitting 35% 35% Woven 20% 20% Jeans 20% 20% Wool(woven) 20% 20% Wool (knitting) Rigid 35% 35% Stretch Socks,gloves,scarfs etc. 20% 40% 70%

• ◆The minimum content &weight requirement of the submitted Thermolite sample is as follows:

• 3、Except for content, other testing items can   refer to test requirement. Generally speaking, apply hangtags must base   on the testing pass.

• 4、Special remark: All submitted socks that   contains elastic fibers (including spandex and elastic ribbon ), require    using the Lycra®  fiber.

• 5、The submitted samples are to be tested in Singapore with two-week working days.

Hangtag Application

• 1、The foundation for tag issuance is to pass   INVISTA’s test for the submitted products, of which takes up 80% of the   total garment fabric

• 2、Provide a completed photocopy of invoice and brand manufacturers’ contractors

• Coolmax®,Thermolite® Invoice (issued by mingmao)

• 2)The following invoices needs to be provided if LYCRA fiber is contained in the product:
  

• a. Invoice of Lycra covered yarn and Lycra elastic   (issued by the yarn covering factories, and can be provided by the   fabric and hosiery factory.)




• b.Invoice of Lycra bare yarn and Lycra elastic   bare yarn (issued by the LYCRA distributor, and provided by the yarn   covering factory)

• ◆ About Contract




• 1）The submitted samples are fabrics, please supply below contracts:




• fabric supplier→garment factory




• garment factory→ultimate brand dealer




• If your company cooperates with trading companies,   you need to provide contracts between you and the trading company, the   trading company and the ultimate brand dealers




• 2） The submitted products are socks, please supply below contracts:




• hosiery→foreign trade companies




• foreign trade companies→ultimate consumers




• If your company is the direct exporter, you only   need to provide the contract between you and the ultimate buyer.

• 3、Supply the product’s brand, the address,   principle and telephone of garment/socks factory, as well as the   material consumption of Coolmax/Thermolite.

• 4、The quantity and time of tag’s releasing

• INVISTA will release the hangtags according to the   product contract, combined with the actual yarn consumption.




• ◆time




• Generally speaking, the hangtags will be released   within 2 weeks’ working days in the case of complete documents. If the   hangtags number is more than one hundred thousand pieces, please inform   us one month in advance. (Note: because the tag application process is   relatively complex, the required time is relatively long, in order to   avoid delaying delivery, please operate it as early as possible)
